You can play without an account. We save only what is needed to keep your game working and understand whether the site is useful.
Your puzzle progress
Your progress is saved on this device so you can refresh or come back without starting over. It does not follow you to another device, and clearing this site's browser data removes it.
Optional accounts
If you create an account, we keep your email address, a secure password hash, an optional username, and your verification state. Signing in uses one essential HTTP-only session cookie. Our email provider receives your address to send verification messages and to tell you when your password changes. Your puzzle progress is still saved only on this device. While you are signed in you can change your password from your account page, which signs out every other browser. Password reset and account deletion are not available yet, so please keep that in mind before registering.
Basic site statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count visits, a few puzzle actions—such as opening, finishing, or sharing—and site performance only when this device has a valid saved Allow choice. We intentionally exclude your email address, puzzle words and answers, anything you type, raw database puzzle IDs, query strings, fragments, and the consent record itself. Vercel may process the minimized page address and performance data plus connection metadata such as IP-derived approximate location, browser, operating system, and device type.

Measurement is off unless this device has a valid saved Allow choice. Do not allow and Withdraw stop new analytics and performance delivery from this browser as soon as the action begins, including locally queued work that reaches the delivery boundary afterward.
Requests completed before withdrawal cannot be recalled, and withdrawal is not a request to delete provider data. We intentionally send only public minimized route labels, the limited puzzle-event fields described above, and minimized performance data.
Email addresses, puzzle words or answers, typed text, raw database puzzle IDs, query strings, fragments, and consent-record contents are not intentional analytics payload fields. Vercel may process connection metadata such as IP-derived information. Hosting and security logs are separate from this choice.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information, use your puzzle answers for advertising, or connect your puzzle progress to your account. Hosting and security systems may keep request, error, security, and performance logs. The feedback and bug-report pages do not send or store submissions and are not connected to a monitored inbox.
